3 Card Poker Rules

3 Card Poker

3-Card Poker is played with a standard 52 card deck. No Joker is used. Players place an “ante bet” and receive a three-card hand. After inspecting the hand, if a player wishes to continue playing that player must place a “play bet” equal to the ante bet. Those who wish to stop simply leave their cards faced down; their ante bets will then be lost to player/dealer.

Up to seven players and a player/dealer receive 3 card hands. The object of the game is to beat the player/dealer’s hand using the following ranking:

  1. Straight flush
  2. Three of a kind
  3. Straight
  4. Flush
  5. Pair
  6. High card (Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3 and 2). Suites have no ranking value, they are considered to be equal.

Independent of ante and play bets, players can place a bonus wager. Bonus bets must equal the amount of Ante Bets and they are paid as follows:

  1. Royal Flush………………200:1
  2. Straight Flush………… …40:1
  3. Three of a Kind…… ……30:1
  4. Straight……………… ………6:1
  5. Flush……………………………3:1
  6. One Pair………………………1:1
